Alathiyur Perumthrikovil Sri Rama-Hanuman Temple Alathiyur Perumthrikovil Sri Rama-Hanuman Temple or Alathiyur Hanuman Kavu is a famous[1] temple located in Alathiyur, near Tirur in Malappuram district of Kerala, between the Ponnani and Bharathapuzha rivers. Although the main deity is Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, an incarnation of Lord Shiva, a devotee of Lord Rama, and an immortal.[2] In addition, Lakshmana is equally important, and the sub-deities Ganapati, Lord Vishnu, Durga, Bhadrakali, Ayyappan, and the Naga deities also reside in the temple.
