Amazon Forest's WILDEST Border: Brazil, Colombia & Peru

Have you ever wondered what it is like to stand where three countries meet right in the middle of the world’s largest jungle? In this vlog, I travel deep into the Amazon rainforest to explore one of the most fascinating geopolitical borders on Earth, known as the Tres Fronteras. The journey kicks off with a flight from Bogotá straight into Leticia, Colombia. Leticia is a vibrant jungle town that is completely disconnected from the rest of the country by road, meaning the only way to reach this extreme southern tip of Colombia is by air or by navigating the river. Because of its unique geographic isolation, the town relies heavily on the Amazon River and its neighboring countries, creating an incredible blending of cultures and economies. From Leticia, the geographical lines blur as I take a simple walk across an open, invisible street border directly into Tabatinga, Brazil. There are no massive checkpoints or walls, just a seamless transition between two nations sharing the same stretch of jungle. I spent the day exploring the streets, observing how the language, local infrastructure, and daily life shift as you cross from the Colombian side to the Brazilian side. After exploring Tabatinga, I headed down to the local river port to see how the third country connects to this hub. I show the exact spot where you can hop on a small boat and cross the mighty Amazon River to reach the quiet island village of Santa Rosa, Peru. It is a raw look at how people live, trade, and navigate life at the intersection of three massive nations in the heart of the Amazon.
