According to the technical regulations, you should change the coolant in your motorcycle every 2 years. Special antifreeze for motorcycles should be used as coolant. In which cases it is recommended to flush the system: You do not know what antifreeze is currently in the system You do not know when the antifreeze in your motorcycle was last changed. There is a dirty deposit in the expansion tank How to flush the cooling system: Drain the old coolant from the system Fill the radiator up to the neck with distilled water. Start the engine and warm it to operating temperature (the fan should turn on). Wait until the engine cools down and drain the water. Changing the coolant Procedure for draining the old antifreeze: Make sure the engine is cold or warm but not hot Unscrew the radiator filler cap; this will make it easier for the exhaust fluid to escape Drain the antifreeze by unscrewing the bolt on the pump Stand a container and drain the old antifreeze for about 10 minutes.
