【潮菜叶飞】红桃粿：Red Peach Kueh
潮汕人每到过年过节都会做粿，红粿是潮汕粿类中最常见的一款。红粿其实是以前民间祭拜/拜神（拜老爷）的一种贡品，直到现在人们也会做红粿来拜老爷。随着文化的传承和时间的沉淀，慢慢的变成了潮汕地区的标志性食物。 Chaoshan people make kueh every Chinese New Year and festival, and Red Peach Kueh is the most common type of Chaoshan Kueh. Red Peach Kueh is actually a kind of tribute for folk worship/worship of God (worship of the Lord) in the past, and until now people will also make Red Peach Kueh to worship the God. With the inheritance of culture and the precipitation of time, it has gradually become the iconic food of Chaoshan area.
