AAPSU Poll: Candidate Raises Safety Concerns, Seeks Early Scrutiny and Timely Elections
AAPSU presidential candidate Meje Taku has urged the Chief Volunteer and election committee to implement stronger safety measures at the ongoing 27th General Conference-cum-Election. The appeal follows a reported incident on Sunday in which female students were allegedly harassed near the election venue, nearly causing a road accident. Calling for “zero tolerance” against such behaviour, Taku emphasized that the dignity and safety of all delegates, especially women, must remain a top priority during the conference.
