We're back, picking up right where we left off outside Riggins, Idaho on a mission to get to Jarbidge, Nevada. But we have about 500 miles of backcountry still between us and the finish line. This leg of the Idaho BDR pushes south through more forest areas and along rivers, some of the most beautiful terrain in the state, before it all opens up into the high plains of Southern Idaho. We take a day off the trail to spend time on one of the rivers, because it was just too tranquil and serene to pass up. But just when the finish line is finally within reach and sight, literally, the Raptor decides it's not done making things difficult.
