Reef Brazendale - Radio One 91FM Live To Air

Reef Brazendale is multi-instrumentalist hailing from Ōtautahi who regularly performs with various musical outfits in Ōtepoti Dunedin (Bunchy’s Big Score, Out Of Luck!), but we were lucky enough to experience him perform a handful of tracks from his solo efforts in August of 2024. A nerdy punk guy with a passion for party pop, pop punk, hardcore bands, and all that sits in between - Reef has been performing on-stage for over seven years now, yet here armed with just an acoustic guitar, Reef sings about the highs and lows of youth with a raw yet powerful and joyful energy reminiscent of 2000s emo. Reef’s goal is to help those who listen to his music navigate the struggles of growing up, and he believes music is a service he has to offer the world. Many of the songs Reef performs are released on the Out Of Luck! LPS, 2024’s ‘I CAN’T FUCKING SLEEP!’ and ‘WEEKENDS’ which was released in May 2025.
