Melbourne/ Naarm based trio of best buds The Grogans are quickly making Aotearoa their home. Quin, Angus, and Jordan take inspiration from surf-rock, punk, blues, garage, psych, and rockabilly and deliver a audio-charcuterie board of greatness. Their sold out shows, constant touring, and reputation of being the most genuine blokes out there precedes them. In late September they visited Radio One 91FM during their Aotearoa Spring tour, and gave us an unforgettable Live to Air performance. The first from an international artist since 2019. There was a buzz in the air at Radio One when they arrived and we hope to have them back one day. Playing a selection of tracks of their latest studio album Find Me a Cloud, the live to air has a combination of the classic Grogan's sound, and punchier, heavy hitting rock 'n' roll tracks. Here's what they have to say about Find Me a Cloud "‘Find Me A Cloud’ is an album that has felt a little different to other albums we've written in the sense that we had an idea of where we wanted to take it, other times it has been whatever tracks we had ready to go. No concepts or themes but more of an auditive aesthetic that we all dived headfirst into. It feels a little truer to ourselves and nostalgic than previous albums. We wanted to draw inspiration from the past whilst never trying to recreate it."
