This video shows me leaving Jeju Island on Sunday, July 21st, during the height of the monsoon season, after seeing the cheap flight prices, and then climbing Hallasan Mountain. The total round-trip ticket cost was 130,000 won, and on a weekday, it dropped to around 80,000 won. Taxi fare from Jeju Airport to Yeongsil was about 31,000 won, and from Eorimok to Jeju Airport was about 18,000 won. Including meals, the total cost was 200,000 won. If you take advantage of the opportunity on a weekday, you can hike Hallasan Mountain for 150,000 won. This was my first time to Witseoreum, so I went to Yeongsil. Seongpanak and Gwaneumsa trails are also perfectly possible day hikes. I climbed Witseoreum from Yeongsil, then went to Bangaoreum, and then descended to Eorimok. The total hike was 12.8 km, and it took 5 hours and 30 minutes.
