Smoked Baby Back Ribs on a Charcoal Grill — No Fancy Smoker Needed

You don't need a $1,000 smoker to make competition-level baby back ribs. A Weber 22 inch kettle, some charcoal, a couple wood chunks, and the right technique. That's it. This is how I do it. 0:00 Baby back ribs on a Weber kettle — intro 1:19 Seasoning with OG Everything BBQ Rub 2:33 Setting up the charcoal grill for smoking 4:26 Ribs on — indirect setup and vent placement 6:37 The foil wrap — butter, honey, brown sugar 9:11 Out of the foil bath — 200°F internal 11:12 The slice and taste 🔗 Full Recipe: https://www.wingosbbq.com 🛒 Shop the Rubs: https://wingosbbq.myshopify.com WHAT I USED: Weber 22 inch kettle grill Wingos OG Everything BBQ Rub Wingos Original BBQ Sauce Yellow mustard (binder) Butter, honey, brown sugar (foil wrap) Apple juice (spritz) 2-3 wood chunks THE COOK: Remove membrane. Yellow mustard binder. Heavy coat of OG Everything BBQ Rub. Set up Weber kettle for indirect at 225°F with charcoal basket on one side and 2-3 wood chunks. Vent on the far end pulling smoke across. Spritz every 30 minutes for 3 hours. Foil wrap with butter, honey, brown sugar, and apple juice for 1.5 hours. Unwrap, sauce, finish 30 minutes. Pull around 200°F. Slice and eat.
