This is a production that up until now, I have never published. It is part 1 of 2, covering the Rainforests of Far North Queensland. Due to it's age, the editing is a little rough compared to current standards and the audio is basic but I hope this does not detract from the viewers experience. I have visited this region several times and it is always high on the list when it comes to bird densities and numbers of species. From the giant Cassowary to the diminutive Fig-parrots, the forests are home to a stunning range of species. Many of the birds are limited to a specific altitude, eg, Low ( down to sea level ) or some can only be observed in higher altitude forests.
