The renowned lawyer believes the panel of judges' decision aligns with his previous analysis. Via his personal Instagram account @hotmanparisofficial on Tuesday (June 30, 2026), Hotman highlighted the difference of opinion between one judge and the four judges who ruled on Nadiem's ​​case at the Jakarta Corruption Court. According to him, one judge delivered a dissenting opinion, while the other four judges found Nadiem guilty. "Four judges found him guilty, one judge found him not guilty or dissenting. The four found him guilty because of his conviction. So, my analysis of Mr. President and Mr. Prabowo was correct," Hotman emphasized. He also assessed that the panel of judges' differing views was evident in their assessment of the reasonableness of the Chromebook procurement price. "The dissenting judge declared the price reasonable, while four judges declared the price unreasonable. My analysis was correct again," he said. Furthermore, Hotman questioned why the BPKP audit results from 2020 to 2022, which he said stated the procurement price was reasonable, were not maximized in the defense. "Why wasn't the BPKP audit from 2020 to 2022 fully utilized by his legal team? Because the BPKP audit stated the price was reasonable," Hotman said. Hotman also admitted to reminding Nadiem about Google's investment, which he believes could potentially be a factor in the prosecutor's decision to prosecute Nadiem. "I warned them at the time, be careful, Google's investment would be used. And it turns out that's what the four judges used as their conviction," he concluded. Hotman also wondered why Nadiem Makarim seemed unwilling to listen to his perspective on the case.
