HDC Clears Illegal Occupants & Mechanics from Charford Court | Minister Alexander Takes Action

Illegal occupants inhabiting an abandoned HDC site office at Charford Court were evicted, following reports that they have been disrupting residents' quality of life for years. Investigations revealed that the occupants were allegedly sabotaging the main water pumps, causing ongoing water issues for residents...while unauthorised mechanic shops have overtaken the development's parking area, in violation of HDC regulations. Within one hour of Minister Phillip Edward Alexander's visit, the illegal occupants were evicted and the long overdue demolition process commenced. Mechanics were also given a deadline to remove their vehicles and equipment from the compound. Minister Alexander reiterates that HDC common areas are for the peaceful enjoyment of all lawful residents...and cautioned that action will be taken against anyone illegally occupying or obstructing HDC properties.
