NOW OUR AIR AWNING IS BLOWING AWAY!’!! 😱😱🤦🏻‍♂️😲😲😨😨. Rally Tour (2)

Hi everyone, After leaving our first ever Rally stop, we headed to the beautiful market town of Pateley Bridge in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales for the second leg of our North of England motorhome Rally tour. What a place! We enjoyed a peaceful walk along the stunning River Nidd, explored the town’s wonderful independent shops and, of course, couldn’t leave without sampling a couple of delicious pies from the famous local butcher. The only downside? The weather! It was probably the hottest spell we’ve ever experienced in Florrie, and because I still hadn’t managed to repair our wind-out awning, we had no choice but to set up our drive-away air awning instead. At first, it seemed like the perfect solution… Then everything changed. Out of nowhere, huge thunderstorms swept across the campsite, bringing ferocious winds that ripped the drive-away attachment clean away from the motorhome. Suddenly our awning was in serious danger of being blown across the campsite – or worse, causing damage to Florrie. Would we manage to detach it safely before it disappeared into the Yorkshire countryside?
