5,600ft of Climbing vs. My Legs: Who Wins? I attempt the brutal "Barely Dented" Audax ride

5,600ft of Climbing vs. My Legs: Who Wins? I attempt the brutal "Barely Dented" Audax ride I took on the "Barely Dented" Audax ride with 5,600ft of climbing over 66 miles. Between the remote valleys and the brutal gradients, my biggest fear was that I’d have to get off and walk. The Yorkshire Dales looked stunning in the sun, but my Garmin was telling a different story. With hills hitting double-digit percentages around Settle, Ingleton, and Dent, I was constantly staring at the "Red Wall" on my screen. Can I keep the pedals turning, or do these hills finally get the better of me? In this vlog, I battle through the Garmin "ClimbPro" warnings, navigate some seriously remote valleys, and try to keep my sense of humor while my legs are screaming. ** Bonus Content ** Stick around until the end where I have a chat with the event organiser, Darrell Whittle, to break down exactly what an Audax is and how you can get involved in the randonneuring scene.
