The Bryan Chapman Memorial - 600km of cycling Wales South to North and back
The Bryan Chapman is one of the icons of long distance cycling in the UK. In a weekend, riders take on 600km of Wales, from Chepstow in the South, up to Eryri and the legendary Pen Y Pas and Anglesea before returning via Mid Wales and the Borders. Along the way they get whatever weather Wales wants to serve up and some of the most stunning scenery to be seen from a bike. Film maker Fergus Coyle followed the riders in May 2026 as part of his project to record a year of Audax cycling. There are over 600 different challenges to be found on the Audax UK web page where volunteer organisers offer curated routes - from 50km tp 600km and more
