Life wasn't easy for Elhadj Touré during his adolescence. He recounts how he escaped the streets thanks to a powerful and unparalleled tool: the power of words. Elhadj is one of the featured subjects of the documentary À Voix Haute (Speak Up), produced by Stéphane de Freitas, released in theaters in April 2017. An experience living on the streets during his adolescence profoundly marked his life. He now leads an agricultural project and is involved in the creation of a school in Guinea, his country of origin. He participated in the first edition of the Éloquentia competition in Nanterre. Éloquentia is a public speaking competition held within universities, in which candidates, coached by professionals, compete in oratorical contests. The goal is to promote the culture of dialogue and debate. He came in second place. Éloquentia inspired a documentary and a film, both directed by Stéphane de Freitas: À Voix Haute (Speak Up), released last April and praised by critics.
