I recently visited Jindaiji Temple in Chofu—a spot that’s become popular among young people lately— and the Rose Festival being held at Jindai Botanical Garden right next to it. Hello, this is komelog. The other day, after checking out some interesting shops around Musashi-Sakai on the Chuo Line, I took a leisurely stroll around Jindaiji Temple and Jindai Botanical Garden. In Musashi-Sakai, I stopped by Musashino Place, with its eye-catching design, and a café attached to a stylish gift shop that opened last year, then took a bus from Mitaka to Jindaiji Temple. Jindaiji seems to be popular with young people lately, and it was bustling with people that day as well. I’ve visited this place many times, but the season of fresh greenery is truly special. Jindaiji, rich in nature, has a completely different atmosphere. And since I was at Jindaiji, I made sure to have some soba noodles. I usually go with my dog, so I hadn’t visited Jindai Botanical Garden before. The Spring Rose Festival, which happened to be taking place, was even more enjoyable than I imagined. I hear they hold one in the fall as well, so I highly recommend it to flower lovers. Once again, I was able to spend a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature.
