County Executive Josh Schoemann partnered with the Downtown West Bend Association to host Washington County’s 7th Annual Juneteenth Day celebration. He declared June 19 as Juneteenth – Freedom Day throughout the county during a program that featured Pastor Clark Schultz with Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church offering the invocation and benediction, Cael Schoemann singing the National Anthem, Tarra Gundrum presenting reflections on the meaning of Juneteenth and its flag, and Noelle Braun singing ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing.’ Let us know if there are county topics you’d like to hear about!
