The February 6th earthquake, which affected 11 of our cities, caused extensive destruction in Hatay and Kahramanmaraş. Two years have passed since the earthquake. Both cities are trying to heal their wounds while also seeking to revitalize tourism and boost their economies. Alp Kırşan is supporting the cities devastated by the earthquake and, in the second year of the earthquake, is touring these two cities, showcasing their still-beautiful natural and historical monuments. Kırşan's first stop is the tomb of Sütçü İmam, one of Kahramanmaraş's heroes. He then travels along the 11-tunnel Kahramanmaraş-Göksun highway to Afşin, where he visits the Eshab-ı Kehf Complex. Kırşan's next stop is the Ali Kayası Glass Terrace. After taking in the magnificent view of the Menzelet Dam, Kırşan savors Maraş ice cream. Kırşan follows the eco-tour hiking trail in Başkonuş Plateau and admires the lake-city views from the observation deck. Alp Kırşan, who prepares Tırşik soup with the herbs he has collected, then rides a horse to the Sersem Plateau. Alp Kırşan then takes the İskenderun Highway and crosses the Amanos Mountains to reach Antakya, the capital of Hatay. Kırşan shows the latest situation on Antakya's Kurtuluş Street and Habibi Neccar Mosque, which were damaged by the earthquake. He visits St. Peter's Church, a Christian pilgrimage site and considered the first cave church. Kırşan tours the Hatay Culture and Art Bazaar, built after the earthquake and bringing together Hatay's artisans and craftsmen. He then showcases Hatay's world-famous cuisine. He visits the Titus Tunnel in Samandağ, Hatay, and visits the Sokullu Mehmet Pasha Complex in the Payas district, one of Turkey's finest architectural works.
