Women World Leaders Educated at Oxford University: Indira Gandhi
This video will give you a fascinating glimpse into the life and times of a very influential woman. Indira Gandhi briefly studied Modern History at Oxford. She went on to become the third Prime Minister of India in 1966, ruling that vast country for many years through tempestuous times yet also becoming an outstanding figure on the world stage. Sadly she was assassinated by her own guards in 1984.
