The day was calm, filled with sights of farmlands, temples, and the mighty Western Ghats watching over me. But when the sun went down, the journey took a different turn. I couldn’t find a room for the night, so I camped by the roadside near a quiet lake. What happened after midnight turned that night into something I’ll never forget.
