The fishermen who were drinking near my tent the previous night had already gone to work, and the strong wind that blew all night was still moving gently across the lake. From there, I continued my journey through Tirunelveli and the villages leading to the Western Ghats — exploring ancient temples, meeting kind strangers, and finding calm in unexpected places. Tenkasi, often called the Kashi of the South, is more than just a spiritual town.
