More content and sculpting tutorials at   / artchongart   Pictures:   / cqtzj7wjrrb   Technical info: The piece stands almost 24” tall, including base Sculpted using mostly Chavant NSP Medium, with a little bit of NSP Hard for faces and accessories like belts, shoelaces, and book The monster was entire made of NSP Medium except for teeth, which were made using Super Sculpey Original. The orange/brown color came from over-baking the stuff and burning it slightly Armatures are made using mostly aluminum wires, with steel where necessary to hold up the weight The monster’s main structure is made from 9 gauge steel wires, bundled together with aluminum wires and epoxy putty. It is able to stand on its own without the base or additional support of any kind All told, this piece took over 45 sessions to complete. (I don’t know the real total. There are days especially towards the end where I worked on it but did not film the process) I promise the next one won’t take nearly as long lol
