Brompton Bikepacking: The Waterford Greenway in Ireland
Bikepacking the Waterford Greenway in Ireland on a Brompton Bike. The Waterford Greenway is a 46km route meandering alongside a disused railway track. This is Irelands longest Greenway and is free of cars and allows for very safe cycling. The Greenway commences in Waterford City and finishes in Dungarvan - passing 11 bridges, 3 viaducts and a 400m tunnel along the way. The track is clearly marked along the way outlining the distance from the start of the track at regular intervals. Most people complete this cycle as a day trip but I decided to make the most of the adventure and brought my tent to camp at a beach near Dungarvan (Ballinacourty Bay Beach). Camping Gear Used: Tent - MSR Access 2 Mattress - Thermarest Neonair Xtherm Sleeping Bag - Rab Neutrino 600 Camera Gear: GoPro Hero 8 DJI Mini 2 Drone Music: Epidemic Sound Hushed - Still Life Sunfish Grove - Unbroken Spirit Lens Flare 1 - Peter Sandberg
