Bighorn Trail, Labor Day Weekend - Yellowstone National Park

This is a 16 mile day hike up to Panther Lake which is just below the pass on the Bighorn trail. This is on the east side of the pass starting at the Indian Creek campground on highway 89. This is a fairly easy hike with a good trail all the way. There are no bugs or mosquitoes this time of year. If you hike the right way you will see a lot of wildlife with a good chance of seeing black bears and grizzly bears. Here are some Amazon links to the equipment I use.
