Manly Ferry to Newcastle (MV Collaroy)

Sail And Steam to Newcastle. The idea is to go one way by steam train and one way be boat. As the ferry has a higher passenger capasity it was posssible if one wished, to go both ways by ferry. I took that option.Not many others did. The trip from Sydney to Newcastle was all smooth sailing, however the return trip was quite rough.....many many people were sea sick on the ferries return trip.(The return Ferry run was not enjoyed by many) This upload can be a little drawn out but how often can we enjoy views of the Central Coast of NSW from a Manly Ferry. Being at sea in Manly Ferry in rough seas was like crossing the heads on a rough day continually for hours...IT WAS GREAT....pitty we can,t do it these days. Oh and wasn't it nice to see the South Steyne at Newcastle........a nice touch.
