I stopped shaving everything | This is real beauty | Embracing being a human | Extreme Minimalism

Warriors, I have been shaving/waxing since I hit puberty at 12 years old. The classic reason being wanting to look like that hairless goddess we have all seen in advertisements, movies, pictures and everything around us telling us that this is what makes a woman look beautiful. Society made me feel like I was gross or even not taking care of myself if I didn't shave my armpits, legs, arms, upper-lips etc. The idea of what a beautiful woman in our society is toxic, and I'm going against it. One of the steps is to let my hair grow and embrace being a human being- which is, a matter of fact, a hairy creature (well, some more than others). Since I stopped shaving, I feel even closer to home- which is the real me. It aligns with my values and way of life, which is being a natural human being, a raw human being and an honest human being- if you see a woman or man out there with their hair being in its most natural state, they are to be admired and they are the ones who are truly beautiful.
