I added 100 shrimp to my new aquarium!

About 4 months ago, I built this living room aquascape so I’d have something peaceful to look at while eating food. But after losing my betta fish “Dog,” the tank slowly became neglected and completely overrun with hair algae. So in this video, I decided to completely transform the aquarium into something totally different… a Jurassic Park inspired shrimp aquascape home to over 100 cherry shrimp 🦐🦖 Using Monte Carlo carpeting plants, dinosaur decorations, a mountain rock from Juhu Beach, floating red root floaters, and cinematic lighting, I tried creating an underwater world that actually tells a story. From escaping T-Rex scenes to hidden dinosaurs beneath trees, this became one of the most creative aquascapes I’ve ever made. After planting and rescapeing the tank, I brought home a massive army of cherry shrimp and drip acclimated them before releasing them into their new Jurassic world. Watching them explore the plants, roots, caves, and dinosaurs was honestly one of the most peaceful moments ever. This shallow aquarium measures 60 x 30 x 20 cm and is designed to be a low-tech planted shrimp tank perfect for a living room setup.
