Altitude: 1857 m / 1491 m This trail connects three of the highest peaks of Madeira Islands, Pico Ruivo (1862 m), Pico das Torres (1851 m) and Pico do Areeiro (1817 m). This is one of the best trails from Madeira Island. It involves tunnels, and some steep ascents and descents, with amazing views of the central core of the mountains.
