Backpacking the Wonderland Trail | Mt Rainier National Park

This narrated video documents our 9-day backpacking journey as we circumnavigated Mt Rainier following the classic Wonderland Trail. Many years ago Raptor and I summited Mt Rainier, so it's always been a special place to us. I used to think Mt Rainier was all about summiting the majestic mountain. Then, this year when we hiked the Wonderland Trail my attitude towards the park completely changed. There is so much more to the park than just the mountain itself. There areas around the mountain are some of the most beautiful places that I've had the chance to hike. Shortly after completing the Wonderland, I went back to do the Northern Loop just to explore the park even more. I now understand why people come from all over the world to hike in this iconic National Park.
