Triumph Spitfire…trying to get the windows to line up
We look at why the windows in the 1970 Triumph Spitfire move around as much as they do. We also want to see why they don’t line up to the hard top and sit with a gap between the window and the seals at the top when rolled up. We show how to remove the handles and door cards to access the inner workings and that a common mistake was made during the assembly of the doors due to most exploded view drawings being incorrect. We talk about how one wear item that is not available anymore seems to be the culprit of the excessive movement and a possible hack to adjust for it and how adjustments can get us a much better fit. Look for more videos as we go through the list to sort out this older restoration.
