2022-01-01 Xiao Qi Ji & Mei Xiang's Conversation with their Keepers!

#PandaStory: Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Years! Today's video (audio throughout) shows Xiao Qi Ji and Mei Xiang sharing the blue multi-sided feeder early this morning before the Zoo opened. Then Qi Ji is napping up in the evergreen, and you can hear the rain falling! Then he's bouncing on evergreen limbs, and indoors he snags the carrot while momma took the treat feeder. The next scene shows Qi Ji playing in his tree, bouncing on the limbs and lowering his body down the branches ... only to pull himself up back up! Later mother and son slide down the hill, and you can see how dirty Qi Ji is! He does some gymnastics on the climbing structure, and gets a drink indoors and decides to take a dip in his pool. Around noon Qi Ji and Mei were waiting at the door leading to the chute area in room 3 ... Qi Ji shows off his door dance. When the camera view changes, you can hear Mei vocalize, and afterward Qi Ji would chime in ... this went on quite a few times before they headed outdoors. When they returned indoors, the keepers had shoved some bamboo stalks through the window in the door. Outdoors they enjoyed fruitcicles ... when Mei finished hers she tried to take Qi Ji's (and you can hear him protest), but he was able to get to it first and protect it.
