Mise à flot du Jacques Chevallier, premier BRF pour la Marine Nationale

[English language version of this video to follow] ====================== The Jacques Chevallier Force Replenishment Ship (BRF) is the first in a series of four ships destined for the French Navy. The order for this ship was placed in January 2019 with the Joint Venture formed by Chantiers de l’Atlantique and Naval Group, with deliveries scheduled between now and 2029. The FlotLog program is part of a Franco-Italian cooperation led by the Joint Organization for Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) on behalf of the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) and its Italian counterpart, NAVARM, within the Logistic Support Ship (LSS) program. The first sea trials will begin in the second half of 2022, with delivery of the first unit scheduled for the first half of 2023.
