THE BOOGEYMAN (The Fear Entity + Ending) EXPLAINED

Hey guys what’s happening? Niyat here with film comics explained. As requested, today we’ll be exploring The Boogeyman, the 2023 supernatural horror directed by Rob Savage, based on the 1973 short story by Stephen King. While the short story focused on a disturbing conversation between a psychiatrist called Dr. Harper and Lester Billings, a new client claiming that his three children were murdered by an entity they called the Boogeyman, the film effectively picks up after those events. Starring Chris Messina, David Dastmalchian, Sophie Thatcher, Vivien Lyra Blair, Marin Ireland and LisaGay Hamilton, the movie revolves around the Harpers, who are still grappling with the recent Death of their Matriarch Cara, killed in a car accident. The trauma that begins separating them and Lesters fear and belief in the Boogeyman begin serving as a gateway for the dark malignant force that begins hounding them. The Harpers must either confront the being head on, or it will feed on their misery and potentially consume them all. In this video, we’re going to explore the short story, the film which follows directly after, in addition to the entity and ending of the narrative.
