Lima al Paso "La huella italiana en Lima"

Their presence in our history is characterized by their contributions in diverse areas, such as the arts, politics, commerce, education, gastronomy, and the study of our country. Italians have been one of the most fruitful and adaptable immigrant groups in these lands, which welcomed them with their knowledge and flavors, leaving an undeniable mark on Peru—a mark we can also perceive in individuals who made Lima their new home and founded families and institutions that still exist today. 2016 marks the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the Italian Republic, and "Lima al paso" (Lima on the Go) explores these traces to discover the Italian presence in our historical and cultural heritage.
