EUA INICIA CAÇADA AO PCC E PEGA EMPRESÁRIO AO FUTEBOL BRASILEIRO

The United States government expanded its offensive against the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) on Wednesday (1st) by imposing economic sanctions against businessman Victor Henrique de Oliveira Shimada, identified by American authorities as one of the faction's main financial operators in Latin America. The news comes from R7 and was featured on Jornal das 6, on 96 FM. According to the US Treasury Department, Shimada allegedly laundered more than US$30 million (approximately R$150 million at the current exchange rate), originating from international drug trafficking, using companies based in São Paulo and part of the international financial system. Shimada is already well-known to the Brazilian justice system. He was previously the target of a complaint filed by the Gaeco (Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime) of the São Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office against Corinthians directors. He is identified as being responsible for a company that allegedly participated in the laundering of money diverted from the sponsorship contract signed between the club and VaideBet. According to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control), one of the companies controlled by Shimada, Victory Trading Intermediação de Negócios Cobranças e Tecnologia Ltda, had been used in January 2025 for suspicious transactions, including the embezzlement at Corinthians. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office of São Paulo, a false intermediation contract was allegedly used to embezzle R$ 1.4 million from Corinthians through commissions paid in a sponsorship contract signed with VaideBet.
