NYCHA Executive Vice President for Property Management Operations Daniel Greene has received the 2026 Sloan Public Service Award from the Fund for the City of New York—one of the city’s highest honors for public servants driving meaningful impact. The award recognizes Greene’s leadership in advancing environmental health and operational reforms across the nation’s largest public housing authority, including overseeing the largest lead abatement initiative in U.S. public housing. Since joining NYCHA in 2019, Greene has strengthened accountability, improved maintenance operations, and helped enhance quality of life for residents citywide.
