Dotykamy historii XI wieku - Kolegiata w Kruszwicy

Few people know that the Romanesque collegiate church in Kruszwica, Kujawy, was built by renovating an original chapel dating back to the 1st millennium, built during the reign of Duke Mieszko I. To this day, a remarkable portal remains from this original church, one of the oldest architectural monuments in Poland and Central Europe. Furthermore, with our wonderful host, Mr. Janusz Owczarek, we will discuss the fascinating history of the collegiate church itself, which was built at the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries, and attempt to unravel the mystery of its extraordinary Gothic tower.
