There are two settlements from ancient times that probably every Pole has heard of. The first is a fearless village of Gauls that bravely faced the mighty army of Julius Caesar. The second settlement is located in Pałuki, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and is called Biskupin. This ancient settlement is even older than the Gallic one, dating back to the turn of the Bronze and Iron Ages. Interesting?
