Planting Trees Across Canada | Day 4 : Manitoba

Day 4. Manitoba 🇨🇦🌲 Fourth day of our mission to plant trees in every province across Canada in just 10 days. Today started with a pickup at the Winnipeg airport. My dad joined us for the journey and will help with the long drives ahead. Over the next three days alone, we have more than 3,000 km to cover on top of the tree planting. From there, we headed just outside Winnipeg to plant at Dwayne and Serena's property. Although they weren't home, they left us a detailed plan showing exactly where they wanted the trees planted. We were also greeted by a few curious horses that made the day even more memorable. Together, we planted 70 trembling aspens and 30 blue spruce to create a shelter belt along the back of the property. Once mature, these trees will provide shelter for both the land and the horses that call it home. A big thank you to Serena and her family for supporting our journey across Canada. Over the next 6 days, we'll continue driving across the country, planting trees in every province and sharing the people, places, trees, and stories we discover along the way. Our goal is to raise enough support to plant 100,000 trees across Canada and help restore forests where they are needed most.
