High-Value US-Made Military Aircraft Delivered to Japan – E-2D & V-22 Unloaded

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force plans to deploy eighteen E-2D Advanced Hawkeye early-warning aircraft, and in August 2025 the eleventh aircraft was transported by sea from the United States to Japan. Meanwhile, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force has completed the deployment of seventeen V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, which were shipped across the Pacific and offloaded in Japan between 2020 and 2024.
