RAF's Tornado last official flight

Having served the country for 40 year's, the venerable Tornado is finally making way for the 5th generation aircraft. On Thursday 28th February, the technicians at RAF Marham had 11 serviceable airframes and a formation of 9 aircraft (with 2 others airborne just in case of any problems) formed a "diamond 9" fly past at RAF Cranwell before returning to Marham and performing a selection of similar passes along with a "missing man" and swept wing passes before landing. Many thanks to the staff at RAF Marham, the local community and the local farmer who allowed hundreds of enthusiasts/ well wishers to use his land in exchange for a small donation for a local charity. #FINale #FarewellTornado #ThanksTonka #9ship
