As a result, you might think that many people use Iseshi Station, but the number of passengers at Iseshi Station per day is around 4,000, which is only about one-tenth the number of passengers at Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station. This is because Ujiyamada Station, the closest station to Ise Shrine, has better access by bus, so many people who come to Ise Shrine use Ujiyamada Station (incidentally, Ujiyamada Station has more passengers per day than Ise-shi Station). For this reason, I think there are many people who have visited Ise Shrine but have never walked around the area of Ise-shi Station. We are one of them. So, even though we have visited Ise City and Ise Shrine many times, we will be taking a stroll around the area of Ise-shi Station for the first time. There, we will be able to see a side of Ise City that we have never seen before. Incidentally, at the end of the year when Iwashi was a complete shut-in, we went to the annual New Year's Eve visit to Ise Shrine with the exception of Iwashi, but not a single word about Iwashi came up during that time.
