Guided Mindfulness Meditation on Embracing Happiness and Contentment

This meditation is a guide to finding happiness by understanding how living in the present moment can bring us deep and lasting contentment. This practice can reduce stress, calm anxiety, and improve sleep. If we open ourselves to being available for each passing moment and maximizing contentment in what we call the here and now, we also open ourselves to the acceptance of happiness and lasting joy. The guided portion of the meditation is about 14 minutes and then continues with calming ambient music for a total of 20 minutes.
