My wife Cris and I, a couple in our 58s, decided to make a lifelong dream a reality: To cross Chile on the unmistakable roar of a Harley Davidson. Every curve of the road is an invitation to contemplate the lunar landscapes of the Atacama, passing through salt flats and imposing volcanoes, to the fertile valleys and vineyards that herald the central region. The wind on our faces, the warmth of the sun, and the immensity of the mountain range remind us that freedom has no age, and that traveling is also celebrating the love and partnership of a lifetime, because we were born to make history together.
