This is a video of the first time we raised the mast using the new system. That's Anton, our boat partner, on the boat. Dave, my husband is manning the winch, and I'm the camera person. I'm a petite, 66 year old woman and now I can raise and lower the mast by myself. The mast is heavy! Sliding it for and aft is an exertion for me, but I can do. It's easy for two people or one man of average strength.
