We Visited Sertã Town | Castelo Branco | Portugal on a Rainy Day.

Serta - a Roman and Medieval town in the heart of Castelo Branco, central Portugal, along the banks of the river Zezere and Rodao. The Serta castle was once under the stewardship of the Templars, and later various other religious and martial Orders. For those who are interested in history Serta is a great place to visit, with its medieval bridges and old churches. We headed over there on a rainy afternoon to buy a few supplies. This was our first real visit to Serta town center. We found the park area close to the old bridge and the canal/river regions to be very refreshing and a pleasant surprise in a rather spread out town in central Portugal.
