Why My Mercedes W124 Keeps Surprising Me | Morocco Rally Ep. 2

The second day of our journey to Morocco takes us from Úbeda to Almería, crossing some of Spain's most spectacular landscapes before boarding the ferry to Africa. What began as a road trip quickly became the first real test for my 36-year-old Mercedes-Benz W124. Rocky mountain tracks, endless dust and relentless corrugations would reveal whether months of preparation had been worthwhile. Along the way, we pass close to the snow-capped Sierra Nevada, explore the surreal landscapes surrounding Almería, and discover why proper ground clearance can make all the difference. Sometimes the journey itself is the adventure. This is Episode 2 of our 7,500 km overland expedition from Germany to Morocco in a classic Mercedes-Benz W124. If you enjoy classic Mercedes, overland travel, cinematic road trips and honest automotive adventures, I'd love to have you along for the journey. Thanks for watching, and if you enjoy the film, please consider subscribing to follow the rest of the Morocco series.
