Hawker Typhoon RB396 rear fuselage timelapse
Short video showing historical progress on the rear fuselage of Hawker Typhoon RB396 at Airframe Assemblies on the Isle of Wight, UK. This is all part of the on going return to flight rebuild, and the painstaking efforts of the small, all-volunteer team in working to raise the funds required to facilitate the rebuild. The rear fuselage is very nearly complete and work will recommence this summer with the section planned to be completed by the end of the year. The work was paused in '22 as contributions decreased due to pandemic response fallout, the war in Ukraine, and "cost of living" crisis in the UK - people's focus was elsewhere and so we, and other small charities, suffered.
